When they agreed to meet with me over beers at The Farmhouse, I knew Dani and Dylan were my kind of people. There was a buzz in the air when we met – I could sense their need to make every second count. Then I learned why; Dani’s got her nose to the grindstone, jamming her way through an intensive accelerated nursing program that has practically NO breaks between semesters. Instead of waiting to finish her degree, she and Dylan really wanted marry one another RIGHT NOW, but couldn’t bring themselves to elope. They chose a middle course, and planned a small, family and bridal-party-only church ceremony at St Ann’s Catholic Church in their hometown of Milton, followed by a backyard party with close friends. It was awesome! We stole away to shoot some bridal portraits at Colchester Pond, and even the blazing sun of mid-day could not outshine the ecstatic couple. I’ve seen the small intimate version, and I am looking forward to 2018 when we all get together again to renew their vows, with all of their friends by their sides, in the mountains. Congratulations, D&D!
